RRQ (also known as DoubleRQ) was conceptualized by newlyweds Frank and Rachel Gratale. The two combined Frank’s extensive restaurant management background with Rachel’s southern-hospitality, creating a contemporary BBQ haven. The goal? To create a space in New Rochelle where traditional BBQ southern flavors are mixed with modern flair and technique well known in our area. RRQ strives to focus on top-quality service, authentic ambiance, and classic cocktails that we hope will bring out the nostalgia in you. We plan to provide a well-rounded experience of food, entertainment and service.
Frank Gratale was born and raised in Hartsdale, NY, but has strong ties to the New Rochelle community. He attended Iona Grammer, Iona Prep, and Iona College. In 1984, he started his career in the restaurant business in New Rochelle, and is excited for the opportunity to return to his roots. Restaurant and food service is his passion; service and customer experience is the backbone of his reputation.
